How can we obtain a greater yield and achieve higher business prosperity?
I would like to share an amusing story. It is an inside story and so perhaps it may not be so amusing to the persons involved.
Two of the company staff traveled quite a distance from the company headquarters in Ikeja to the Lekki Free Trade zone, Lagos ; location of a site we are temporarily farming in the hope of a harvest of plantain.
However, in the 6 months that we had established the plantation, they had neglected to carry out regular visits to inspect, weed, water, fertilize or turn the soil.. basic maintenance.
So as I was appraised of the story of their disappointment, as I would often do, I used it as an analogy for RELATIONSHIP with our business Associates.
In a service industry, when we don’t pay attention to the needs of our clients ( in or out of season) we are not likely to obtain a bountiful ‘harvest’ from them when they do begin to prosper.
Pretty simple ?
Pictured is the lone plantain sucker left .
