What do we mean by ‘being enterprising’?

Author Jim Rohn describes it this way;
An enterprising person is one who comes across a pile of scrap metal and sees the making of a wonderful sculpture. An enterprising person is one who drives through an old decrepit part of town and sees a new housing development. An enterprising person is one who sees opportunity in all areas of life.’

Being enterprising means alive to opportunity and taking steps towards actualizing your potential.

It involves being constantly informed of Industry trends, researching for innovation and being resourceful.

Enterprising people see the future in the present, likened to the oak tree inside the acorn. They find ways to thrive even in challenging environments not just survive.
Enterprising people don’t wait for opportunities—they create them!
