This week was the memorial of September 11, 2001.
23 years have passed and so it might be a distant memory to some of us (my 20 year old daughter who lives a short train ride from the site now, was not even born yet) while the families and friends of those who perished live with the reality of this loss every day.
I clearly remember where I was and the shock of just watching helplessly as the planes crashed into the Twin Towers and how the world has changed thereafter.
This is the photograph of Ground Zero, memorial to the 2,977 people lost on that day because they had shown up to work.
The lessons from that day will live with us forever. Most importantly to cherish our loved ones and value our dedicated employees every day!
